Product-n-Press: MEET THE INVENTORS AND THE BRAINS BEHIND THE BIG IDEAS features mom-entrepreneurs, small businesses owners, inventors + authorities on entrepreneurship. Each participating brand has a personal backstory with the creator on site and product currently available for consumer purchase.
A morning coffee talk includes experts on bringing consumer product ideas to market: Patrick Raymond, former president United Inventors Association Financier Karen Griffith Gryga, co- founder FashInvest
and mom-entrepreneur Amy Baxter – inventor of BUZZY.
A reception is to be held in the afternoon honoring photographer + furniture designer Jennifer Graylock –
creator of the “Sit on My Face” collection of celebrity faced furniture as seen on The Soup + Chelsea Lately.
“This event has been created with the little guy in mind”; says event organizer Jono Waks. “Small business is the backbone to this economic recovery but small business often needs just one wee break; Meet the Inventors is that opportunity to showcase their product and tell their story to an important audience of influencers.
Brands included: Brenthaven, Buzzy, Confidence Beads, Cumberland’s Tidy Tots + Shave Well, Eco-Zip, FaceChairs, Ieolus featherweight bags, Isabelt, Ivar Shelf System Backpacks, Magnificent Baby, Max Mirani luggage, Miss Jessie’s Curly Hair Care, Nizo Wear, Rivet & Sway Eyewear, SousVide ovens, Sweet Rexies candy, Think Geek, Vs.Mittens, Wrapeaze.
Now in its fifth year, Product-n-Press is a series of short-lead media themed events occurring throughout the year produced by Jono Waks, Jono Productions. Coming this February, The Accessory Lounge – a dynamic space - featuring accessory brands during New York Fashion Week.
